It is difficult to comment on a disk you've composed, performed and recorded yourself, the more difficult even when objectively sit flush to contemplate some songs desafinadas that rough and no one should listen to, even more difficult when you know that these songs reflect better than anything else the stage most obscure of your life, this time when the world was finally made sense and where the only possible refuge was music.
It is curious power of music, the ability to completely aislarte of the world, the extraordinary value that is given to songs that, at any given moment you feel that you save (or ruin your) life.
In any case, here you have this chronicle of my first solo album, those "songs that no one will hear" that can find and download at the end of the article to deny, to the extent possible, this title.
Let us in history: On May 15, 2002 Evenless give his last concert in the hall the Laboratory of Madrid, a disastrous concert that leaves the mood of the band on the floor and the countless projects that were on hand in a bar waiting indefinitely . While I was sinking into my depression and loneliness of my work at night, the rest of the gang received a call from Ernesto Gonzalez to form what is now Wild Group.
For a while trying (unsuccessfully) to improve my job and forget the music, for some time that I have already left the guitar in its case and saved the world around me seemed very distant.
However, at some point, at some unspecified time, I decide that those songs that I composed Evenless deserve to be recorded and preserved, rather than for its quality, because of its unquestionable relevance emotional. That way, with my limited knowledge of computers and musical desvencijadas my guitars start recording at home.
Influences ¿? All right, let's talk about influences. I always liked how to compose in Sabadoh of Lou Barlow, that way of dealing with close emotional dramas, and was primarily my main influence, although the disc also find references to Mogwai ( "Three Cold Nights") and The Velvet Underground ( "Headache"), or winks at Sugar, Pavement or Joy Division in electrical items such as "When The Night Is Over," "Ugly Lie" or "Floating Thoughts."
In the most recent items (not Evenless), played in acoustic format, try to get close to Ellott Smith or Nick Drake, albeit without much success, as you can hear on "Untitled Song," "My Name As A Girl" and "Something You ' ll Never Know. "
These songs describe, in great detail, the process by which a heart comes in to break my pieces, and is dedicated to all those women who love them and I'm not loved, and above all to the person who loves me and which cost me so much love, for he understands how difficult it is to mend a broken heart and not fail in its daunting task.
The future will tell whether Evenless have a new future, and whether the subject matter of my songs will change some day. Hopefully it does know and convey my music in the faith and hope that nest in my (broken) heart.

Be patient Luis. If I have not commented on anything yet, it's because I have not had time to listen to the calm it deserves. In some early listeners fast feeling most prominent has been the atmosphere of a room full of naked feelings. Given the apparent sincerity that do not fit perfectly into the arguments of voices or instruments or recording. I also find it difficult to listen to the songs objectively by the amount of memories that bring me: I remember the exciting models that save a great friend, I remember years of loneliness, of intensive companies and experiences that will not be repeated. I remember some of the best moments of my life and mistakes that would like to go back to not commit them.
